We recently recieved a question about how to thwart mediocre or bad salespeople giving people advice. This reminded us of a fairly basic, but important point.
The fastest way to get great results in any particular area is to take the same actions as people who are already great in that area. In sales, take the same actions as the top salespeople, get the same results. You want to pick the brains of the top salespeople and find some "top salespeople" mentors. Also, feel free to pick our brains as the authors of sales encyclopedia have over 141 combined years in sales and are some of the top salespeople around.
